Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Anyponics is an iOS app that helps you plan hydroponic and aquaponic growing systems. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. It is written to be read, not to hide things.

No account, no sign-up

Anyponics has no login. We do not ask for your name, email, or any account credentials, and we do not maintain a user profile.

Your designs stay on your device

Every system design you generate is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad (Apple SwiftData). Designs are not uploaded to us and are not synced to any server we operate.

AI design parsing

When you describe a system in your own words, the text you type is sent to the Anyponics backend, which forwards it to Anthropic’s Claude API to interpret it into structured design parameters. The backend is a stateless proxy — it does not durably store your prompts. Anthropic processes the request under its own API terms. If you prefer to stay fully offline, switch the engine to on-device processing in Settings; nothing leaves your device in that mode.

Camera, LiDAR & AR

The room-scan and AR size-preview features use your device camera and LiDAR sensor. This imagery is processed entirely on your device to measure your space — it is never uploaded or stored by us.

Region

The app reads your device’s country setting to route shopping links to your local Amazon store. This is a single device setting — it is not GPS location and is not tracked.

Affiliate shopping links

The bill-of-materials screen links parts to Amazon. Anyponics participates in the Amazon Associates program and earns a small commission on qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. When you tap a link you leave Anyponics and Amazon’s own privacy policy applies.

Purchases

Anyponics Pro, the optional one-time in-app purchase, is processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple may provide us with aggregate, non-identifying information about purchases.

Analytics

Anyponics does not currently include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such code ships.

Children

Anyponics is a general-purpose tool not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
